Fourth Anniversary on The Forum
Saturday, the twenty seventh of this month is the fourth anniversary of the day I joined Xmarks. I was looking for a place to "rant" about a certain kilt seller who had ripped me off and offered absolutely no customer service. I found a group of around 400 guys, Headed by someone called Highland Tide. The group was both sympathetic and kind of interesting, so I decided to stick around
Now, four years later, we have more than four thousand members on the list. Many old members are gone. Some just seem to have lost interest, and a few have left because they couldn't stay within the forum rules. Our rules are strict, but totally understandable, and fairly enforced.
Highland Tide is rarely seen around the forum nowadays, and his second in command, Mike1 has gone from being a mod/administrator to being the behind the scenes,, brilliant tech guy who keeps our software current and and the forum problem free. Mike1 is missed in the everyday part of this group, but I am thankful he's there keeping us up and running. I remember the forum being down for several days, some time back, and I felt lost while it was gone.
In summation, it has been a fun four years, and I hope I'm still here four years from now.
