If you're going to be in the St. Louis area this weekend, try to make your way down to Maplewood on Friday night (September 26th). Old Blind Dogs is playing at the Focal Point.

Friday will be my second time seeing OBD. I just wish the Focal Point would spread the Irish musicians out a little; they have four playing in five weeks and I can't quite swing that with my entertainment expenses!

If you're really into Celtic music, it might be worth the drive to make it up to the piping show a week from Friday. I've talked to a few pipers here in St. Louis and none of them is going to miss it. Should be a good time.
