bicycles of choice
I suspect the mods may wish to move this to off-topic, but I'll chime in anyway.
My screen name comes from my preference for recumbent bicycles, such as this one:
...and this one:
that is my commuter.
I also have a 1974 Raleigh Superbe 3-speed for neighborhood jaunts (up to 3 or 4 miles). It's one of the nicer ones--came with rack, 6V/3A dyno hub and lights and fork lock.
To date, I have only ridden the Raleigh whilst kilted--in my UK Workman's model. I have no trouble whatsoever doing so.
I used to race in Michigan. I still have my Trek carbon fiber bike. I also own a Cannondale that is on the trainer and set up for time trials. I also have a mountain bike, Trek, that I use for recreational.

I won't even TRY to ride that bike while wearing a kilt. I've ridden a couple of recumbents in parking lots, while keeping the apron down with one hand to prevent scaring the locals. It's not easy to manage.
I have, however, ridden this bike four or five miles at a time while kilted:
