    Went for a short hike

I thought today I'd go for a short hike through Toronto Botanical Garden & Edwards Gardens, where the my SCD group dances in the summer. I thought it would be nice to get some photos of the local colour before it all hits the ground. Anyway I got there took a hiked a bit took a couple of photos, and thought oh I'll get a picture of myself now, it was at this point that I realized that the batteries in my camera had died. I finished the hike and came home. It started to rain and well Toronto in October can get a bit cool for a 4 yard box pleat when it's rainy and windy. Here are the photos I got.

First the outfit I wore, I also wore the Empire Canvas Works Shooting Jacket I got from Kevin, it worked perfectly, and I'm sure I'll wear it often as the weather cools down.

Glen - the colors look great. Pity about the battery, I'm sure there were lots of other scenes to photo.

Yes Brian there were, however now it has started to snow, now it is just a light snow rain mix but there are definite flakes however as soon as they hit anything they are melting. I will try to get back over the next few days for more photos.

Nice pics. This is definitely my favorite time of the year to go walking in the woods. I try to hike at least once a week in the Autumn.

We missed the snow here. I have found the trees really red and orange this year. Is it the same there??
    Thanks for the pictures,

Looking good, the kilt the hose and the jacket go well together Glen.
Lovely autumnal colours. There is already snow lying on the hills in the Trossachs, down to around 1,000 feet level, which is unusually early, normally at this time in the year the only snow to be found in Scotland is on the higher mountains further north. Its going to be a long winter!
