Tennis and Window Shopping
Since my wife left me back in July one friend of mine has been there to help me through by keeping me active playing tennis. Me playing tennis is scary (it could probably be argued in court that it is not tennis), but I have been very grateful for the support. I have been wearing cargo shorts to play as there are big pockets for the tennis balls. It has been fun and keeps me from eating 24/7.
Saturday morning my friend stopped by and we went to play tennis in Angola, IN. and I tried something other than shorts......I wore my Utilikilt mocker. Although, it does not have external pockets the front pockets were very generous to hold eight tennis balls. It was the most comfort that I have had playing tennis. Although I much prefer wearing a more tradition kilt in general I must say that for play tennis the Utilikilt was the perfect thing to wear.
After playing tennis we went to an outlet mall that is west of Fremont IN. This mall is basically two strip malls located about 1/2 kilometer from each other. While walking down the sidewalk at one of the malls we walked passed a husband and wife. She said something as she walked passed me. I could not understand what she said so I just ignored her as I figured she was speaking to her husband. My friend started to laugh. I asked him what he was laughing about. He said, "Didn't you hear her"? I told him that I did not understand her. He continued to tell me that the woman looked down at my kilt and said "Love it."
What a day!

Just because you live near Hicksville doesn't mean you can go confuse us with KM. I don't think I've ever seen KM on any signs on 127, it's rare on I-75.
(I drove from Ann Arbor to Piqua and back going through there once.) So about a third of a mile, I could see them easily sharing a large parking lot.

So hey, why aren't all men wearing kilts when playing tennis??
Makes total sense.

I think that a kilt with cargo pockets would be the best. I don't think that I care to go back to shorts to play tennis. If it gets too cold I will wear wool hose.
Hope to play some tennis after work today, but with the time change it gets dark shortly after I leave the office. (It is November 3rd and 71F in northwest Ohio!)

If it's not that warm here, it's close. If not for having to go to work today, I'd have been kilted. Oh, the weather demands it!

I would think you would want to wear something lighter than a Utilikilt to play tennis being it envolves a lot of movement.
Maybe a Sportkilt or SWK thrifty.
I know,No pockets, but why not a big modified sporran.

Well, Saturday morning it was overcast, and 52F. In regards to temperature the Utilikilt was very comfortable. I am not familiar with a Sportkilt or a SWK thrifty. A thought that just came to me...aside from material I wonder how would a kilt at the waist compare to a kilt on the hips?
Anyone else ever try tennis in a kilt?
