    wool barathea fabric

    Greetings all, 24 November, 914pmMST

Just thought I would share a link to a fabric website that has black and navy barathea wool fabric for the Prince Charlie.

    http://www.quality-fabrics.co.uk/ind...s+18page=shopp

They have it per yard at £19.95, which at today's exchange rate is $30.13 USD.

It took a long time to find anyone who sells the fabric but I knew that there must be someone out there.

    Fide et Fortitudine, aye!

    Thumbs up

This is great stuff, particularly the black; I have a wonderful Jacobite weskitt in it.
My only caveat: it's a the queen mother of all lint magnets! But hey, you're talking old-school woolens, you're talking a steady stream of lint rollers anyway, right?

    Greetings Barb, 26 November, 1231pmMST

This is Tim in Idaho. We have exchanged emails on occasion over difficulties in my kiltmaking ventures. I do appreciate all the help, and am currently not working on any, though I do have a piece of the Shaw of Tordarroch Red-Old Colors for myself that I will be starting one day.
