Seattle WAKOS Post Turkey gathering
Well, the best way to beat Turkey Overdose is to eat and drink more.
That's just what some of the WAKOS did last night at the Pyramid Brewery:
Jeff Ross and his lovely wife (whose name I would surley butcher if I tried to spell it!)
Irish in Tacoma sporting what I believe is the Moran Tartan.
Irish in Tacoma, Joe Gondek, Oldhiker, and MacGreggor. Joe and Greg MacGreggor are our two newest WAKOS!
Solving the world's problems.
My date for the evening.
SheScot was showing off some of the kilt hose she's been knitting.
Joe Gondek brought some fantastic handmade sporrans as well as a beautiful sgian he had made. Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures of them - I was too busy drooling over the workmanship.
That's my story, and I'm sticking too it.
I believe Jeff is getting ready to smite someone...
Don Moore and I arguing over the bill.
I hope everyone enjoyed themselves, as I know I did! I know that Oldhiker took some photos as well (which may actually SHOW our kilts) so look for those as well.

I wish i could have made it. Finances prevented it this time. Next time however, hopefully myself and my roommate will be there.

Thoroughly enjoyed the evening. It was very nice to have the company of adults who also happened to be kilted! One small thing I did notice, at one point everyone must have partaken of enough drink, I left the room first. When I got to the bathroom and stepped up to the urinal, the gent who was already there looked at me. His eyebrows went up, his mouth opened I waited for the silly comment. Just then the rest of the rabble showed up.
He was surrounded! I haven't seen anyone disappear like that since the Vegas magic show.
Looking forward to the next meet up. I thought I heard something about a Burn's Night.

I would've paid good money to be a fly on the wall for that Mens room encounter!

I must point out our newest WACKOS traveled incredible distances to be with us. Greg (Mcgreggor) drove 90 + miles from Chehalis, WA.... I was impressed with that until Joe who lives in Port Angeles, WA (way across the Puget Sounds) tells us he flew in that morning from Salt Lake to be with us. to our NEWEST Wackos
welcome guys!!
here are a couple of photos
Yes there is talk of a WACKOS Burns night... plans pending but be thinking about a potluck style Burns night. I think Annette volunteered to do everything plus drive us home if we overindulged. Here she is giving us instructions... j/k Details will be coming forthwith.
