The Gathering 2009 - our plans

Hi all, remember me?? As some of you know, we cancelled our trip to Edinburgh for the Gathering.
Money reasons, the world economy, global warming, carbon footprints, terrorism and a few other lame excuses.

But......our travel agent called to say there was a half price special to the UK, I had one day to decide and we bought the tickets. But, but, the latest month we can travel is May 2009, so folks, we'll be in Scotland next May, we plan to focus on Argyle region, and Islay!!! wha hey! Hamish, we're hoping we might get to see you again, and any other of our kilted brethren! More soon

Hi Graham, I hope you and Leslie and the kids are all doing well.

My wife and I are very likely going to Europe in April, but have had to cut out Scotland. We only have 10 days and as of now will fly into London, board a cheap flight to Rome and work our way back to London via, Venice, Geneva (maybe), Nice, Paris, and back for a day or two in London. I would have loved to make it up north for the gathering, but $$$ and time are dictating this voyage.
