Yay! New Kilt!
Allright! I gave myself a little early holiday treat and ordered an SWK Irish National thrifty-kilt today, along with some flashes. I have a fair bit of Irish heritage on my mother's side, so I thought it was appropriate and warranted. The tartan is darn nice as well. Any other Irish National XMarks wearers out there who care to chime in? I should have mine right before Christmas I'd say. Yeah!

Congratulations! I don't think I will do the Irish National, but I've almost talked myself into one of those green wool shadow tartans. Lots and lots of Irish in the family.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

I just got my Irish National a couple of weeks ago from SWK.
I really, really, really like it.
I have a County Cavan tank, the SWK standard, and a black utilikilt, and like all three in each their own way.
Now you got me jonesing again...I think I'll go peruse the websites of the sponsors (I've got my eye on one at Rocky's, right now.)

I agree with all of the above. It is one of my favorites and my students chime in also about the Irish National. I usually wear it to school. Here is a pix of the kilt in action.
