Why?
Why are you reading this? Why are you here on CHRISTMAS EVE ? Does your friends and family know where you are?
Why am I here?

Cause the non Christians are bored because everything else is closed?
My mom was mad, she ran out of butter at 8pm, after every store had closed. She had to go to hotel at the mall to get into the mall itself, then go into her restaurant to retrieve the butter she had there, exiting again through the hotel, because the mall doors were locked.

Wife sick, kids in bed, leave it to Beaver on the TV. This is better than that.

I'm playing Tribal Wars and this is the only quiet I've had all day.

Because I've already had enough fun with the wii and making clicking noises with my new shotgun.

Just got back from Church service and late dinner at Denny's. Must wrap gifts for wife. too wired to sleep. I wore my kilt to church and to Denny's. Lots of smiles. Ran into a guy from Florida that said he left his kilt home. Told him about XMTS. Its 01:40 hours. Got to go wrap.
Merry Christms all.

Aside from the obvious answer: why not? Because I live in Japan, Dec. 24th and Dec. 25th are regular ol' work days. I took off an hour early yesterday to get Christmas supper started (being of European extraction, we celebrate on the 24th) but aside from that, I've spent most of today (the 25th) bored outta mah tree and making random, inane comments on the forum: kinda like this one.

Well, I worked Christmas Eve, I worked Christmas, and I will work Boxing Day - and then I'll drive the two hours south to spend the weekend with family.
