Oconee Leather Works Sporran Wallet
I have mentioned on other threads being unhappy with wallet options for wearing a sporran. Steve (Cavscout) of Oconee Leather Works pm'ed me suggesting he would be will to try to come up with something to meet my needs. What I wanted was something that would:
Hold basically all my stuff
Transfer easily from one sporran to another
Be easy to pull out to get at credit cards, cash etc.
If possible, would just go from sporran to p%nts pocket when I have to wear suits for work.
Steve has come up with a great sporran wallet that meets all my needs and looks great as well. This weekend, I used it in all three of my sporrans (SWK nylon cargo, soft Rob Roy, and a stiff leather tradition casual. Worked in all three and in the front pocket of my suit trou. How's it look? See for yourself.
Here are the photos:

Good idea, and great execution. I'm sure others would buy them as well.

Geoff, Looks like a good one. I've often wondered about something like this before, myself.

Great Idea!
Steve made me a simple leather pouch 3 1/2 by 3 1/2 inches with a simple snap closure which I carry in my left front pocket. I use it to carry Euro coins on a daily basis. If I'm at a Highland Games, I put it into my sporran and it makes retreiving money for snacks or drinks very easy.
(I carry US coins in my right front pocket. One of the facts of life working on a military base in Germany!)

I'm so glad you like it Geoff! That was a fun project to develop with you. Thanks for the kind review and great feedback from everyone.
A few more details: every seam hand sewn, every rivet and snap hand set. Made from tough, grained pig skin, 4 huge pockets, 6 card slots, key ring holder, pen holder. If you look closely on the inside photo you can see my mp3 player and headphones sticking out Also available in Brown with brass hardware.
Currently these are having to be worked into my standard back log. I hope to get a few of these made and keep a few on hand for faster delivery but being a "one man show", ya know how that can be.
Let me know if there are any other questions or design wants. Another possible option that can be worked in is a plastic insert to carry even more cards and photos. That's the nice thing about being a custom manufacturer, just about anything is possible to get you what you want.

Just an update. The sporran wallet is now my man wallet whether kilted or not. Works just as I hoped it would, and saved a lot of trouble switching from kilt to p#nts when I need to wear suits for work.
