Looking for online Sources for a Deerstalker hat
The lovely Flame-Haired Celtic Amazon Goddess had offered to give me a new brown toned deerstalker hat for Valentines Day.
To my horror our local hat shop seems to have folded in the last few weeks and the next closest in Santa Cruz will not be bringing in any new one till next winter season.
The village hat shop.com only offers the same grey Herschel model I already have.
I would appreciate any suggestions for an online source for a new deerstalker.
The matter is of great importance to myself and even more to Jock Scot!
Cheers
Jamie

Are you talking Deerstalker AKA Sherlock Holmes or Deerstalker AKA Fore and Aft?

Here is another link from a previous thread. They apparently will make one in whatever tweeds they have.

Glen,
either.
Note to All,
Online stores in the US would be preferable

*sigh*
Some of the nicest deerstalkers I have seen are on
www.ebay.co.uk
They seem to come in all colours and in many tweeds. With the exchange rate the way it is, most of them seem like a pretty good deal. A few acquaintances of mine have purchased them and have been rather happy.
Happy hunting, (yes pun intended!)

A few years back I ordered a nice one for my now ex-son-in-law who was striking for detective with Tucson P.D. from www.menshats.com
Can't find one there now, but as much as you love hats with panache you may wanna check out their website. They're not too far from you in Stockton.
