Black watch hose review-puffer

A couple of weeks ago I got 2 pairs of hose from "Black Watch of Canada Kit shop http://www.blackwatchkitshop.com/sho...products_id=65

I waited to review them until I "tested them out.

1. Service was Excellent
2. $$$$ was, IMHO GREAT

3. The HOSE
A. Fantastic color (go with almost all my kilts)
B. Blend (pre washed)
C. Good weight for ALL seasons
D.Hold shape well
E. Run large I wear a 10, so I ordered a 10-10 1/2. They are about an 11
but not a Prob.
F. These, when not folded over extend over my knees ( about 8" above
the top of my calf. 2 4" folds = PERFECT. BTW, I took a long walk a couple odays ago in the "hills. It was in the mid 20s & my knees got COLD, ergo, pulled up the hose WARM!!!

These have become 1 of my 2 favorite for "daily" wear ( the other are my WPG Khaki )

NOTE - one prob. they are currently VERY LOW ON stock

These look quite nice and warm! I'm a bit color blind when different hues are mixed like this. May I ask what colors are in the hose?

A "med. blue & yellow.

Nice looking hose that seem very durable. For those interested the Black Watch Regiment was disbanded as a full time regiment in 1970. However, it remains a reserve regiment with their armory in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The reserves are generally similar to the National Guard in the USA and may participate overseas along with regular forces. The kilt is part of their dress uniform.
