Snow in the UK!!!
Hamish, Derek, McClef and all the others in southern England - I hope you are OK.
I remember snow like that in Dorset in 1978 - we were snowed in for three days!
For the rest of us, here's a link to the news.

THAT is what's bringing the UK to a standstill?!? I'd hate to see what would happen if they got some REAL snow... :-)

Holy cow! That's an eye opener to some of us who are used to getting snow. So far we've had 183 odd cm here in town. Goes to show what an impact it makes on places not used to seeing much if any.

Yippee!!
Woke up this morning to a light covering of snow, and very cold air, most of the snow melted in the early afternoon but then it started to fall again and it is still falling, and not melting.
The forecast is for more snow during the night and sub zero night time temperatures for the rest of the week, so it might stay.
The North of England is due for heavy falls tonight, but it is not really a novelty for them.
