    MSA in Seattle

I'm not sure if this should be in the 'music' section or not, but it's here for now, the moderators can move it at their pleasure.

MSA (Mastery of Scottish Arts) is a school that teaches piping, dancing, fiddling, and drumming here in the PNW. We bring in some of the best pipers, dancers, etc. to teach out in the middle of nowhere for five glorious days.

Just before the school starts, the teachers put on a recital here in downtown Seattle, at Benaroya Hall. It is amazing.

    Amazing I said, amazing.

Anyway, I know that this is last minute, but the concert is this evening at 7:30, and you'll see so many kilties your head will spin (myself included). I'm not sure if tickets are still available, but you should seriously consider checking.

Barry was right, this was a remarkable evening. I definately will be going back.

The Lamonts and the Sutherlands made this a clan affair by having dinner and a few drams together before the concert at the Wild Ginger (Thai restraunt) across the street. Wonderful food and company. we had a few WACKOS join us also
