Thank heaven for this refuge
Just got to express my thanks for a bit of calm in this exasperating world.
A place where I can get away from all the bad news and strife of the day.
Kilts and pipes...my breath of fresh air.
Thank you Xmarks!
It don't mean a thing, if you aint got that swing!!

Same here; it's a desert out there.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…

That's how I feel Mr. Bill. The strains and stresses I suffer knowing that I am never able to plough my way through all the threads and new postings here are enough to give me ulcers!
Take care,
Ham.

I find the "New Posts" feature very useful. . . although I probably spend more time online than most of you (working at my home computer much of the day, many days). But "New Posts" lets me scan through, ignoring (sorry) most of the Welcome Newbie posts and cherry-picking the others. And once I discovered that "go to last un-read" feature in each thread, well, I feel the POWER!

I hear you.. It seems that this is one of my few places to escape the static of the "real world".

I agree,
About the time my dog starts looking at the forum over my shoulder, I know we've had a hectic day.
Peace,
Kevin.
PS- How old must a dog be to have Glenlivet. He's kinda twitchy.
