Fredericksburg St. Paddy’s Parades
Fredericksburg will host a couple of events to honor the Patron Saint of Ireland. The Blue and Gray Brewery will host on Saturday, March 14th a Parade at the Bowman Center in Spotsylvania. The Parade will be followed with a corned beef and cabbage lunch. Click here for details.
The Irish American Society will host a St. Patrick's Day Parade on Sunday, March 15th downtown. Click here for details.
I’m planning to put on my St. Patrick’s tartan Newsome box pleat and join in the festivities. Any of the Rabble planning to attend?

That sounds like a lot of fun Mael. I have some activities planned around my area for that time frame. Saturday is the Pre-Season Opener for the Washington Freedom in Germantown MD. If you weren't aware of it, Major League Soccer now has some competition with the rebirth of professional womens soccer (WPS) and the Freedom is back at that level. Abby Wambach will be our forward and many of the other teams have both US National players and International players. It should be a great game.
I might go up and see Barley Juice in Westminster, I haven't decided yet. They are playing Friday and Saturday evenings. Sunday will be the DC St. Patrick's Day Parade, so I'm going to try and make that one. Have fun in Fredericksburg and tip a pint for me!

And more than one pint of Guinness will be tipped in return Mael!
I only drink on days that end in a "Y".

My brother was at the St. Patrick's parade in Alexandria today and said it was a blast. He's not ready to wear the kilt I bought him and regretted it after he got down to Old Town to watch the parade.
