Scots needed for Arlington,TX 4th of July Parade
Barb and I are working on getting participation by the Scots in the area for the Arlington 4th of July Parade.
We will be driving our cool Highland Moon truck in the parade but need some kilted Scots, dancers, pipers & drummers to also participate. The parade is touted as the largest 4th of July parade in Texas and it's high time we have the Scots participate. If anyone is interested please contact me. I have to have a head count by May 1st!!

Scrapscot, I sent out some PM's to people who are on our D/FW social group. I'm sure that's not all of the folks in the D/FW area, but I can't remember who isn't on there. Hopefully it'll get some attention for you and anyone interested will get in touch with you.
As for me, I'm not sure we could make it -- July 3rd is our anniversary, and I'm not sure what Christopher has planned
Best wishes and good luck!

Arlington is in the Dallas-Ft Worth area. According to the Yahoo! Map driving directions, the difference between Arlington and Corpus Christi is:
Trip distance: 415.74669.0 mi Time: 6 hrs 23 mins (not sure how accurate it is, Yahoo has been known to be off, but yeah... it's a bit of a trip)

Yes, I need people to walk in the parade. I need to have a head count no later than April 4th. I have to turn the paperwork in before May 1st and I want to be sure we're all onboard. I'd love to have some pipers and drummers, dancers as well.
I'll be driving our Highland Moon truck as the support vehicle (can't walk..I have a ruptured tendon in my foot). The truck has a St. Andrew's flag painted on the topper but I would love to have someone carrying a flag as well.
Please email me or pm me to let me know if you can make it.
