Learning the Power of the Kilt
Reading McMurdo's thread about his bookstore experience today, reminded me of my experience yesterday.
After the St. Patrick's parade, I was standing, waiting at the light rail station in the middle of Central Ave in Phoenix. A lady drove by and yelled out the car window, "NICE KILT!" loud enough for everyone around to hear. Ya gotta love it. I yelled back, "THANKS!" Made my day.

The power of the kilt knows no bounds! Even if some may think it a strange sight to see a man in a kilt, they generally love the the look.

The power of the kilt can be as splashy as a wave crashing on a beach like your situation today, or as quiet as the undertow. Yesterday while getting a bite to eat at a local burrito joint, a young lady came up behind me and appeared by my side, tapped my thigh and murmured in my ear, "I love your kilt." It was a strangely intimate moment that left me feeling like her boyfriend had reason to be jealous.
Regards,
Rex.

The Power of Suggestion
I attended the Seattle St Paddy's parade yesterday and a good time was had by all. There were numerous occasions that young women approached to ask if they might have their picture taken with me or the group; I said of course, but it will cost you a kiss; none refused to kiss me. It may have rained on the parade but the Sun was shinning in my heart.

In Utah? Try coming down to Phoenix and see if there is a difference.
