Kilt Alterations in/around Ohio
Hello
I had a kilt made for me about nine years ago for my wedding. (I didn't wear it to the divorce although I should have)
Well since then I have lost about 110 lbs. and 12 or so inches off my waist.
The down side of which is it's wrecked my wardrobe, most of which I can deal with but the loss of my kilt stings.
So, with that in mind does anyone know of kilt makers in/around Ohio to whom I could go to for alterations? (The company I bought it from to start has, it seems, gone defunct)
I thank you for your time.
E

What type of material is the kilt, wool, polyester/rayon (PV), or that other manmade material?
Wallace Catanach, Kiltmaker
A day without killting is like a day without sunshine.

I can personally recommend Mrs. Ada Langley, kiltmaker for MacDonald Kilts in Fairborn, Ohio, as an excellent seamstress. She is a native born and trained kiltmaker from Glasgow, Scotland, and I have worn one of her kilts for the past 12 years which has given me excellent service and no problems. She has a website at: http://www.macdonald-kilts.com/

That is exactly what I needed. She's about a hour from me to boot!
Thank you very much!

Thank you very much.

gotta say welcome from Piqua. I know the pain, I lost 30 pounds and had to buy all new clothes, I still find old socks that I missed that fall off when I wear them.
