Garter Ties!
Ordered some Garter Ties from Matt Newsome at the Scottish Tartan Museum, Lovat Blue, Lovat Green, & Navy Blue. They look even better in person!

Enjoy them. I love my garter ties and much prefer them to flashes with the elastic band.

I swear there must be one factory in the world that makes all these garter ties. No matter who sells them - they always look exactly the same!
Congrats BTW - I love mine!

Yay! Congratulations, I'm thinking about getting a pair of blue ones too.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

I love mine too!!!! - Gotta get some more. Hardly ever wear the elastic tartan flashes anymore.

OK, I'm willing to give them a try. Who carries them in the widest selection and the best price ???
Aye Yours.

No best price. I get mine at the Scottish Tartans Museum with my Lewis kilt hose. Same folks make them. Should be a link to the STM on this page.
Some folks buy some yarn and a funky plastic knitting guide and knit their own. Suppose that would be the cheapest.
Easy way to wear them is just wrap them around and make a single knot like when tying your shoe, then push the ends under the other part of the garter. Holds well all day.
