Gals -- just for fun :)

There're actually quite a few of us on here, although sometimes we each go through quiet periods for various reasons. I thought it would be fun to make a social group for us. Who knows? Might be a nice place to ask for advice about wearing a new tartan or something like that. Admittedly, sometimes the social groups are a bit quiet and not everyone reads them (I try to remember, but don't always have something to reply with). It's worth a shot, though.

    Best wishes!

    I'm in

There was one started on Yahoo. "wives of men in kilts" I think. It ran for a while then slowly died. You can always resurrect that one.

If we went with 'wives of men in kilts' some of use would not be incuded - it is me who likes and wears the kilt, himself isn't interested.

Some of the "wives of men in kilts" did not like kilts either.

I'm in a few yahoo groups and haven't been involved in them for a while. I didn't even think to look for any on yahoo, although I had looked at other social networking sites for kilt-related groups.

I started a social group here to keep it mostly for XMTS gals (the link is in my first post). One of our new members wasn't sure how many women were here and I thought, why not have a social group for us so new gals could find us easier and chat if they wanted?

Social groups are a little bit of a pain to keep up with, sadly... that is the one main downside. You have to remember to go look at it and try to keep up -- I wish they were a little better to use, but it's still kind of fun to have the option here.

Thanks for the replies, everyone! Best wishes

I like having the Xmarks Social Group. I'm logged into Xmarks anyway. It's just as easy to check the group.
