A custom flat horn
In the days of Muzzle Loading Fire arms, the Black Powder was carried in Powder Horns. There is one genre of powder horns that has been connected to the Scots, by many experts. It is the FLAT HORN.
I have for many years desired to have a custom one, but the Quality horns are $$$$$(very few horn makers make them because of the difficulty of making them)
Today I was GIVEN ONE by 2 Brothers in my BP Family. ( these 2 men are known for their excellent work.
Here it is:
They have offered to do more scrimshaw, but @ this time I like it as is,

that is very nice. Match that with a wonderful hand woven strap and an antiqued elk shooters bag. I have always liked the flat powder horns too

Just because you are paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you.

Actually, a note was included from another Brother, saying that he will make the strap as soon as I tell him what I want.

As to the bag, my favorite is a Bison. , but I love a ELK hide bags. PM me a pic of yours PLEASE
