As some of you know I bought an old church in Ashland Wi, that I'm rehabing to live in when I retire. Well next week I'm going up to do some work and checked out local events for something to do in the evenings while I'm there. Well Guess what Julie Fowlis is giving a concert in little Washburn Wisconsin on 04/23/2009. Julie is the BBC folksinger if the year for 2008. She's from North Uist and sings in gaelic. Julie Fowlis is a great young artist. Her rendition of the Beatles' song Blackbird in Gaelic is just awesome.

Julie was in Seattle in Feb, she is a great performer. Plus she is extremely cute. Gle Math!! You will enjoy, the best concert I have seen in years.
