Who's up for a kilt nite in savannah may 8th?
Alright, gents.
Who's up for a kilt night in Savannah on the
8th of May, the night before the Scottish games?
Let's get a good roll call, time and a good start point on
Congress Ave. ( Molly's after the whisky tasting or
Murphy's law).
We got lost in the posting about the Scot's Games. Let's
get a good peg on (lightly) organizing this thing. Wear your best
(drinking) kilt. I'm taking pics for the site.

Well, BatlRatl, if you're going to be here for the 8th, why not just nudge it up one day and be here for the 7th and join us for Scottish Night at the ballpark. Our minor league affiliate is doing it up Scottish in honor of the games and it falls on "Thirsty Thursday" so the beverages are a bit less expensive than usual.
That doesn't mean the 8th isn't a good idea, too!
I'm in for the duration, however it plays out.

Welcome to the forum, look forward to meeting you.
You should hop into the "Kilt Newbie Forum" and post there so the folks get a chance to welcome you... you'll find we're a welcoming lot.

We do a lot of lodging business for artists at our theatre and have some friends. Their flexibility will ultimately depend on what % occupancy they're expecting for that weekend.
Let me look into that Batl Ratl, give me your exact dates an your room requirements (single, double, non-smoking, etc) and I'll see what I can scare up.

Include me into that lodging check too if it's not to much trouble. I'm trying to get the wife to come along for the games but regardless I will be there and coming up early for a rowdy time at a few pubs with my kilted friends would start the games off just right. I would need a double bed N/S room. Fri/Sat nites.
I don't believe the idea is to arrive in heaven in a well preserved body! But to slide in side ways,Kilt A' Fly'n! Scream'en "Mon Wha A Ride" Kilted Santas

No problem. I'll call around tomorrow and get a feel the going rate that weekend, etc. Looking forward to meeting our neighbors to the south!
