San Diego Highland Games June 27 & 28
The San Diego Highland Games are coming up the end of June. Here is a link to the website if you are not familiar with them:

Get your tickets on line and save a buck or two compared to buying at the gate.
I was wondering how many of the SCHool (SoCal Holligans from an earlier post) would be up for meeting and perhaps dinner after on Saturday?
I'll most likely only be there on Saturday, but will probably be there all day.

Bob and I will definitely be there and (barring the unforeseen) will join the rabble for dinner Saturday. Last year we met at a pub/restaurant in Vista, maybe Henneseys? Would have to look at last year's post. . .
Hope to have a small FlamingoKilts ad in the program this year, too!
As it gets closer, let's talk about where and how to meet during the day Saturday -- both to firm up dinner plans, and to meet those who can't stick around for dinner. It's always tough to work around the athletics schedule but maybe we can find a time (or even multiple times) that everybody can be in one place. Gotta post more and better pics of the Hooligans!

I usually go on Sunday, any chance of dinner or a get together Sunday afternoon? A friend, alright ex-wife, competes her Border Collies in the sheep trials and it gives me an opportunity to catch up with her.

I'm fairly certain I'll be in town and up for at least one of the days! Let's definitely bump this as it gets closer to the date.

Hennesseys in Vista was good for Saturday night last year.
Mid-day meetings in the beer/food area both days -- Jay (James MacMillan) and I are semi-coordinating this on both kilt forums. My suggestion is to meet under a flag (which I can create), and rather than making it forum-specific I have suggested just looking for the "dot com" flag.

There is another kilt forum?

I am hoping to make it out there for these games. I'd be there both days, I am assuming, well, at least Sunday afternoon, depending on the hour of church services.
It'd be great to meet up with the various rabble during this foray to the wrong coast.

Is this the church services you are talking about? At the Games Sunday Morning?
Service in the Auditorium at 9.30 am. with Rev. Bill Brooks, Col USMC (retired)
Piper – Kathleen Mars and Vox Nobill singers.
