    Tartan and Kilt Hose query.

I have a USA Kilt in the US Navy (Edzell) Tartan, and I have not figured out what color of hose I should wear with it. I have cream colored hose, but I really don't like how that combo works. Any suggestions or pics would be greatly appreciated.

And yes I discovered that I posted in the wong area for this question.

There is another thread currently asking much the same question.

See my post in that thread.

I also have a USA Kilts Navy tartan semi-trad. So far have just worn Navy kilt hose, sort of matching light blue kilt hose or maroon kilt hose. Here's pics if that helps any.

And, of course, NO kilt hose on Maui

I prefer the Lewis Kilt hose from Scottish Tartans Museum, but any kilt hose in these colors will work if you like how it looks.

Thank You Ron. Helpful as always!!

I felt the cream colored hose even with a white or other light colored shirt effectively produced the same fashionable look of plaid shorts, striped shirt, horn-rimmed glasses (taped in the middle), black knee high socks, and sandals. So I figured I would gather opinions as not to garner a place in the how not to wear your kilt section.

Crack me up. Just one of those neon New Year's Eve dealies. Don't think real halos are issued to Pagans like me...and certainly haven't earned any halo for being a good boy.

    Appreciate the thought though...

You gotta be kidding!! I live in the canyonlands, the boondocks, the sticks, the land of sand and dust....grubbieville....but thanks for the compliment...

There are finer peacock's on this board than I. Learned what little I have from Ham's great photo galleries.
