No. I recommend nobody have a strategic sniping advantage on eBay.

My friends use esnipe on eBay, I don't use it because I figure if it's meant to be mine, I'd win it... And if it's not, it won't ...

I've been sniping the old fashioned way. Manually. At least there's some sport and honor in it.

perhaps it is just me, but does anyone else remember (as I think I remember) there being a time that Ebay would extend an auction by x minutes if a bid was placed in the last few seconds?

    LOL-honor in online bidding.....

I ask b/c I've had items sniped from me;an item I'm looking at closes later this evening that I won't be able to baby sit in order to win.

I asked for opinions on snipe products, not opinions on sniping. Thanks

Sniping is just plain wrong. You need to be present at the closing of the auction. You place you maximum bid on the item and cross your fingers you bid enough to win.
    My VERY humble opinion!!!

Gunbroker.com is the only site I know of with that feature.

ive read good reviews on goofbay and auctionsniper but i tend to snipe the old fashioned way in the last few sec`s,
ive never seen anything wrong with sniping myself if it was so wrong then ebay wouldnt let you bid in the last few moment which would defeat the whole point of a auction in the first place,
im all for the seller getting what ever they can for a item regardless of how much it goes for and if i dont get it and end up pushing the price way up well thats what folk get for outbidding me in the firstplace
