A grand Wednesday
This is what I'd call a good day. At least, it's starting out that way.
I'm wearing the Black Watch kilt that I took in by 6 inches so it'll fit me again, and I really like this tartan and this kilt. (I have connections to Munro, too.)
I grabbed a black turtleneck that had been a bit tight, so I didn't want to wear without a shirt over it until I had lost some weight, and ... dang, it's kinda baggy on me now!
Put on the gray herringbone kilt jacket I converted and ... hey, this is too big now too.
At least my kilt belt adjusts!
And on top of feeling good in a kilt, and in this kilt, and in my smaller body, I get to meet a fellow Xmarker for lunch.
I'd say that's a good start to the day.

Good on ya! I'm kind of shooting for the same thing by this time next year.
Why, a child of five could understand this. Quick -- someone fetch me a child of five!

Congrats
Congratulations on your weight loss. Now the never ending challenge................to keep it off. Here's hoping you'll join me as one of the five percent that keep the weight off. I've done it for two plus years. You can too.
Best Wishes
David

Thank you! I know, right now, that I'm jazzed about this. I'm having trouble keeping from losing weight. (My target was 175, and I got there, and in the last month I've lost another 5 pounds.) But I also know I can slip right back into those bad diet and non-exercise habits.

Congrats on the weight loss. I've kept my loss off for two years now and feel comfortable. The main thing is to adept a lifesytle and eat properly so as to stay healthy.
Enjoy the clothing excitment. It's a cool little reward.

Iain, congratulations, it's always great to hear encouraging stories, I know how hard it can be to . I've been working on weight loss for a two years and been very active with it for a year, so I know how hard that it can be. I'm glad that you're getting the benefits of shrinking. Keep it up.
My fat loss is working with a corresponding muscle gain so I've been gaining weight (lost 30lbs, have gained most of that back) which can make it pretty discouraging to look at a scale for me, especially when you have to go up a size (due to an increase in chest/back/arms/neck.) Kind of funny since when I started it was because I didn't want to buy XXL shirts.
