My Dirk and sgian dubh set

Here are a couple of photos of my second attempt at making a dirk and sgian. This is my first try at attaching photos, so I hope I've got it.

    Thanks.
I made these a few years ago from antler sheds a clansman from Maine gave me. The blades are from A. Cutlery. I chose a basketweave pattern because it was easy to lay out. I have been using the basketweave pattern in my antler since then and like the look. My Uncle who was a bullrider in the 50's taught himself to work with leather and has taught me alittle about it so the sheathes are a first for me.
I'll be posting more work. I just finished a dress antler sgian with a tiger's eye stone. I enjoy seeing the photos others have posted and hope you enjoy mine.
    Cheers,
    Scott

Very nicely done, you should be proud to wear those. Are those brass tacks in the hatching?
