WOO HOO! and.... Does Lemon go in a Gin and Tonic?
I got a promotion today.. my first in my career (as opposed to lateral transfers) and it feels good.... a surprising 9% pay increase !!!!!! (though fought for)... and more on the not too distant horizon. Finally, after 9 years in my company and completing my MBA last year (all while working full time, separated from my wife and raising a little girl, keeping a band playing, and a few other things...) it seems things are starting to look upwards.
So I wanted to celebrate a wee bit. Get home and there's the gin.. there's the tonic...... but wait! darn... no lime.... BUT I found a couple of lemons in the drawer... and I figured "what the heck!".. I must say...
WOW
very very good....... different palate but still VERY enjoyable.
Now to decide what kilt to get next... and what tattoo to get (a thread for another day) ............

Lemon in your G&T is just the ticket.I think, in fact, lemon is more usual here in the UK than lime.
