    The Olde Ship British Pub

Last night I went out wearing what I would consider contradictory items. The shirt is from a pub in my home town, The Olde Ship British Pub and the kilt is a Sportkilt Wallace tartan.

So you can imagine my thinking when I just grabbed any shirt and the closest kilt from my closet. I guess it could have been worse, like wearing a saffron tartan and a Manchester United football jersey.

Then later that night I settled down with some single barrel, headphones and Flatfoot 56 a band out of Chicago that has a piper and some great songs. I also was listening to some Led Zeppelin.

Great choice in pubs, too! Love The Olde Ship although it's been several years since I've been back. I thought they had been around longer than 1993 but then I'm getting to the point where I can hide my own Easter eggs. . . CRS!

If one is going to it spell "Olde" then it should be "Shippe" too.

Looks like a good evening. Politics aside,...the shirt and kilt works.
