    A REALLy bad hose issue..

You know...You wouldn't think that I would have a hose problem...Actually I don't.....Its my brother. I bought him his first tank in almost 12 years and its a Montgomery (will be here next week along with my HEather Isle ancient!!). Now I'm going to sort him out with some REALLY kickin' diced hose, but we're behind due to my maker's house being damaged from the wicked storms that blew through a couple of weeks back (There are a couple of X-Markers probably ready to tar and feather me because of the wait "GULP" Steve and Jock-Yours will arrive to me on Monday), so its gonna be another month before he gets them.

So the problem is...WHAT ON EARTH SHOULD HE WEAR? I thought about purple House of Chevoit, but the artist formerly known as Prince called and said that that was too much purple even for him. I'm one of those that does not promote white hose wearing....But I'm starting to think that might be the only option.....Would it be too much purple if he did go with purple hose? Opinions requested.

I have some friends that wear the purple Montegomery. I belive it has a red and green stripe running through it. I don't think red hose would work, but green in either lovat or bottle would work. Maybe go with red flashes.

I know that there are also those who think that black hose are awful, but, they do go with anything. For me, they work and I like 'em. At least it's something until you get what you want.

    Here is the Montgomery tartan

I think purple would be fine even though there would be lots of it. Lovat Green would be my other choice.

I would second the lovat green, I think it would look very nice with that tartan.

I hope my wife doesn't see that tartan. If she does, I'm in trouble....

I'd go with with green as well. I think it would be difficult to find the right purple to match.
