KILT APRONS- A PRACTICAL - Puffer
A short time ago We talked about Kilt Aprons & how "practical" they were.
Last weekend I gave mine a "True" work out.
I was KILTED & evolved in "training" NRA Instructors.(BP/ML & modern.) & "exploring" the surrounding "terrain"
1. On the "RANGE", the Apron Kept my Kilt "clean". ( Dirt ( reg. + demonstrating positions ( Prone, sitting ) & BP residue etc)
2. Exploring the the beautiful terrain ( woods & foliage) The apron, protected my kilt from Snags etc.
Because the Apron has a "pocket" & I carried a "satchel" I did not wear a sporran ( Note- neither did the Regiments)
Results = Clean Kilt & filthy apron
The apron also assisted in "modesty" ( We had females in our classes)
All in ALL IT WORKED.
Here is a pic of mine. The left pic is it "fastened up & the Right is opened to show one of the kilts I wore.
