A week off from work.
My wife and I took my son down to Virginia, for a week. Heres some shots of the week. We stoped off in Phili to brack up the ride.
The Liberty Bell, not an easy task getting a shot with out a bunch of people in front of it.

Wonderful photos, the last time I was in Philadelphia, we could not get near the Liberty Bell, the lines were just too long, it is a beautiful city, thanks for the photos.

Great photo's. Never seen the liberty bell for real. It is on my list though.
That's a great 'upwards' shot of the Independence Hall.
Thanks for sharing them.

I just love American history, and the birthplace of the United States of America,
would like to learn more. Thanks for the great pictures.
Do I see coins on Franklin's tomb.
Is that some sort of tradition!

Thank you for sharing, sir. I believe that is one of the few unobstructed pictures I've seen of the Liberty Bell.

But isn't a penny saved a penny earned?

Great photos - alas I didn't see Franklin's grave when I visited.
