Well I may not be able to wear to school
I have been wearing the kilt more often the last couple of weeks (3 times gasp!). In auto tech, we were studying for the test so we weren't working on cars which permitted me to wear the kilt. Its seriously not a safe idea to wear a kilt while working here, besides the grime and dirt, I could flash me undies which is against school dress code. Today was the last day with auto tech but I've learned today that auto tech 2, which I'm taking next year, is going to be all year round not one semester- which means no kilt at school...YAY!! .
anyone share my dilemma?
On an up note, a while ago I found out that a teacher/coach at my school is a highland games athlete.

I'm looking into going into land and resource management with the forestry service. The training program is a lot of hands-on stuff (not to mention the fa that there is a nationally accepted uniform- like the postal service has! ), so it's very possible that I will be right there with you in the fall.

What a bummer for ya both, but having a teacher who competes in the games should be a good thing for sure. Luck to ya both.

I don't know... That may scare Booboo away, but Yogi may just get aggressive.

Yeah. My friends are surprised it took me this long to look into it. They give me a hard time for being the only technophobic computer aided graphic designer on earth. It's a love/hate relationship...

As a former National Park Service Ranger, I frequently was asked why I didn't lobby to wear a kilt with my uniform -- I would reply that I was proud to wear the "gray & green" of the NPS, a uniform that had been worn by many dedicated public servants over the years, just as many have inthe USFS.
When I wore the NPS uniform, I was the steward of an American Civil War Battlefield, and a very recognizable one to the general public, which was an awesome responsibility. I figured I could give up my individuality to serve my country.
And if you do go USFS -- don't do the Yogi/Boo-Boo jokes. You'll here enough of that from self-proclaimed comedians.

My friend, I will make those jokes till the day I die- or until someone kills me... I told my coworkers that I was thinking about doing this, and those jokes have already started- and I haven't!!
