    Homemade Flashes on the cheap

Okay, at the local fabric store today and saw these packages of "Quilt tape" fabric. It is about an inch wide and 54" long. I brought them and cut two 1.4 feet sections and had enough leftover to make a couple more! For 1.00 a piece I can have any colour I want. II just wrap them around the elastic bands and I can interchange them. I now have the whole colour wheel of flashes for less then 6 dollars! All you need is a pair of scissors if you want to taper them or anything.

I know there are many Traddy Rabble that will dislike them, but for a t-shirt kilted day they worked just fine!

I think it's great how this kilt thing has inspired so many DIY projects, both big and small. That's a good, practical find.

Heh! The "Traddy Rabble!" That has a fun, dichotomous ring to it. I like it.

    Rex

I sometimes wonder if you don't spend your offline time reading your websters.

Well, no, but I used to carry one to bathroom with me when I was a kid.

    TMI, I know.

    Regards,
    Rex.

    Dan,
Rex only carried the Webster in because the Funk & Wagnalls was hanging on the wall already.
