Rhode Island Scottish Highland Festival, June 13th

Saturday will start the New England season for Highland Games. The Rhode Island Scottish Highland Festival is the first for Clan Donnachaidh Northeast to attend for the season. So if you're in the neighborhood stop by the Donnachaidh tent, have a piece od shortbread and say hello.

Being held later this year helped with the weather. Pretty good sized crowd and plenty of Clans. No XMarkers that I know of. I will be at the Round Hill games Norwalk Ct the 27th of june and the Glasgowlands july 17th in Mass so stop by if your there.

I was there ! I was the blacksmith for the Historic Highlander's living history group. I didnt get a chance to wander around and 'see' the fair though, spent my whole day at my bellows. I'll probably be at most of the new england area games this year demoing blacksmithing.

How funny! I stopped by after setting up the Clan Donnachaidh tent to say hi to Guy Sheldon. Those bellows are quite a site! I bet they work great. We'll have to meet the next time. Are you at the Glasgowlands games?
