Happy Birthday Queen Elizabeth!
I understand that today is the day of official celebration of the Queen's birthday. I hope you all join me in wishing her a very happy eighty-something. May she continue to enjoy good health and happiness. Cheers.

There were a few people at Buckingham Palace on the 21st of April to wish here well
Pretty heavy security too. It was a funny day in London that day. It was the Queen's actual birthday, the budget day, a partial tube strike at Victoria station, and there was a huge protest across from parliament regarding attention to the war in Sri Lanka.
Huge police presence that day.

If she lives as long as the Queen Mother, we should be able to continue wishing her a long and prosperous reign for another 17 years or so. In that case, the Duke of Rothesay would be about 80 when he inherits the throne.

True, true. I think he'll get a wee shot at it though! Hopefully as the King of Scotland also
