Kilt Mention In My Small Town Paper

http://www.lakepowellchronicle.com/V...d=1763&page=77 Hoping this link works direct - edited from initial.

Will get you to the main page. Then you gotta go over to the quick search thing on the right and type in blood, then the article comes up.

I pumped the reporter full of info on my kilt, including that it was the Firefighter Memorial Tartan. But they left it out of their pic. They did mention I was kilted at the very end of the article. But that's a breakthrough in my little town. Pretty cool.Glad they added all the info about the importance of donating blood and the hospital.Ron

Sorry, edited the original post. Didn't realize it was a small town website too. Once you get to the link look on the right side for quick search. Type in "blood" and the article will come up at the top of the page.

Here, this link should go direct...I hope... http://www.lakepowellchronicle.com/V...d=1763&page=77

Pretty cool that you wearing a kilt got a mention, but I'm most impressed by your accomplishment. Having spent a career in EMS I was eternally grateful to people like you who made life possible for someone else, someone they didn't know and likely never would. My hat is off to you Sir!
