Looking For New Kilters

I'm trying to put together a group of lads who enjoy wearing their kilts. Starting with the Texas Renaissance Fair, and then getting together outside in the real world and show them we're tired of trousers and such. So if your looking to meet up with crazy Irish/Scotch guys for fun, then by all means drop a line. Renfest starts october 10th. We'll be there opening weekend, and closing, and probably in between.

We plan on being at TRF over Thanksgiving Weekend. Home base is Dallas though so outside if TRF, probably won't have much of an opportunity to visit.

I'll be there with my wife and 2 year old son. My son and I will both be kilted. We've made plans to be there on Saturday Nov. 14th. The weekend of Nov. 14th & 15 is the "Highland Fling" weekend - lots and lots of kilt-wearers on that weekend.

I'm looking to be there opening weekend and kilted to boot. Maybe the Highland weekend, too, but I think that'd be pushing it for my girlie ;)

Jonathan, We usually go to TRF 3 or 4 weekends, This year our plan is to attend Opening, Fairy, Highland and Closing weekends. I'll try to get a XMarks get-together set up for Highland Fling weekend. I'll post a Thread with some info as we get closer to Faire time.
Days I'm at TRF, I can generally be found at the Sea Devil for the day's first Iris & Rose show, or at the Prince of Wales Pub after the parade.

The rogue and I go to TRF the 2nd Weekend of October every year. This year that is opening weekend. We camp with the Conciullium. We have friends in some of the other guilds. We will try to come down to visit. Um... If you see a couple guys walking around as Pink Pirates on Saturday, that is my rogue and his "flamingo". Then on Saturday he will be a Tarrrrr-tan Pirate.
