It is Not Always About the Kilt

The Mrs. and I just got back from our local farmers market (where I was kilted of course). We picked up some beautiful heirloom tomatoes, a variety of 1/2 dozen or so kinds of peaches and a flat of great smelling strawberries.
    Mmmm...

So, while on a lovely stroll around the outdoor market, someone yells, "great shirt"! The Mrs. and I are both taken aback. What?
Again, "great shirt, I love Kaanapali"! Oh', yea, I was wearing a Kaanapali golf shirt.

So, it just goes to show, it is not always about the kilt...

Good on you for shopping at your local farmer's market.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

I wore black kilt and canoe printed Hawaiian shirt for an "Island Casual" wedding yesterday. Many people asked which island I was representing.

Interesting, but I would bet the kilt was noticed first and the shirt afterwards.

I always get comments on whatever Nike shoes I wear with my kilt and never my kilt!
It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom -- for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself.

You should have said Orkney, or Skye, Mull, Arran, Lewis, etc.

Well, Paul, let's face it. Your shoes are far more.....distinct wear than kilts.
