I just discovered the Tilted Kilt here in Bakersfield, CA. First thing I noticed besides the terribly replicated "kilts" on the staff, was a repro painting on the wall of a piper with the pipes under his wrong arm.

It does look weird, but there are "lefthanded" pipers. In fact, one of North America's best, Lyric Todkill, plays that way. He says it's easy to teach his students because he says it's like playing in the mirror.
Why, a child of five could understand this. Quick -- someone fetch me a child of five!
