    Kiss-in Cincinnati

This isn't really kilt related, but I was wearing a kilt at the time. So several gay couples were harassed and arrested in some cases for kissing in public in a few cities out west. They weren't making out, but just pecks on the cheek an so forth. I guess they just rubbed the wrong people the wrong way.

Anyway some people organized the nation wide Kiss-in, where couples would gather in public places across the country and kiss each other. Well I took my girlfriend down for a fun time. We kissed along with everyone. We didn't take our camera, but found some pictures online from the local news that had us in the background.

I'll skip the part about how s-s kissing is now a spectator sport, but...

    How did I miss this?

    When was it?

And, O.M.G. That looks like Michael C. in the foreground - my one-time neighbor and one of the first people I ever met when I moved here in 1989!

Thanks for the ... Well.. I was going to say "heads up," except that it's more of a heads turn.

    Regards,
    Rex.

    It was on Saturday, Rex.
Let me just say that everyone was invited to kiss, which what we down there to do. I was put off by some of the straight bashing (only one or two comments), but I guess these people are allowed their anger. All in all it was a fun time, and the folks down there were kind. I was surprised that there were so few people downtown at the event, but I guess it just wasn't well advertised. I only happened on it when I was looking for something to do that day.
