First grandchild
This little fellow was entirely unplanned for - and has caused all sorts of problems for my son and his wife - rearranging the wedding for May was just the start of it, as he was due the same week as the date they had chosen in August.
In the end he arrived early, at 9 lb 1 oz, so hardly premature. He was too long for all the first size clothes, and is growing like a weed. He is named Jake Riley Croucher.
I suspect that he is going to make well over 6ft, God willing, judging by the length of his long bones.
