Thorfinn Sporran 140 - Silver Fox with metal cantle
Last night received my fourth (yes, fourth) Thorfinn Sporran from Turpin.
As we all know, Turpin is a master at making Rob Roy style sporrans, and full-mask sporrans as well. But he has also successfully tried his hand at making full dress sporrans.
Having seen one that he made for himself, I asked him to make one for me.
This is the result.
Silver fox pelt with enameled celtic hound cantle by ClanArt.
Side-by-side with TCS #28 for size comparison:
They are the same size, but the stiff front and back give the fox a slightly smaller capacity.
And the inside:
My fingertips aren't quite to the bottom.
You can see the cell phone pocket (the pen pocket is hidden under my wrist), and the key clip is just visible above my wrist.
Turpin has done another beautiful job on this sporran.

That is one classic dress sporran. The mix of silver fox and enamel is just great.
