Wooo-hooo!!!!
Tonight, the LWFD went really well. I've been throwing 44-45 regularly now, my "bad" throws are now 42's. Recently 46-47 has started to be my "good-regular throws".
Well, tonight I re-focused on something I'd been glossing over in the first turn, and HULLO! I had 6-7 throws of 47-48 feet and GET THIS..
One total BOMB out to 52. I *Never* thought I throw LWFD, 52 feet. Here's the thing. I know WHY it went 52 feet, too. Heh, heh.
Lotta whoopin' and hollerin' over that.
At the very end of the workout after 2 1/2 hours of solid throwing I got out the 14.5 pound stone and incorporated a lot of the feedback I got to my "Mikes Toeboard Drills" video. Result? Eight throws well out over 30 feet, most right around 31.
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO-HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Fantastic. I'm really glad that worked out. I'd like to come down at throw at Costa Mesa next year, we shall see....

Haha, nice job Alan!
Practiced mine tonight and finally started to get my slow-and-go down. Put about 5 or so yards on my old throw distances...until I had a bad first turn, lost my balance and had most of the handle weight rake my pinky finger, leaving a nasty blister. Oh well, price of improvement I suppose
