    Poems from me

Hello, I thought I'd like to share:

Not all of these are Scottish related.

I'm learning Scottish on my lonesome, any corrections would be appreciated

    The Lovers' Coil

"I like your hair up" I said

"I like your white dress" I said

"Gu raibh maith agat...agaibhsa" she said

    We both giggled like
Together on the Steppes so long ago

    Mo Gra
    Mo Gra

    Mo cuisla
    Mo cuisla

In walking through St. Stephen's Green
    the fin de siecle
Who knew what marvels were waiting
    there were rumors of mechanical
    beasts of burden

And yet where would these beasts take their lover's
To places yet they had already been their's before?

S'e cho moran gaol agam oirbh, mo gra gu brach

    Chestnut Fire
    Preternatural Beauty

    Before the Stars
    There you are

    Of explosive sights
    Of cataclysmic sounds
    Knowing not of material bounds

    How we love thee

    Teine ruadh

    Mi-nadurra Maise

    Romh an rionnag
    S'e thu ansin

    Seallam fradharc a' spreadhadh
    Seallam tuimhneach spreig
    Chan criochan corporra aithne aice

S'e cho moran gaol againn oirbh

    Cat

    Lick, Lick, Lick

    Soft tongue full of barbs

    Lovely Personality
    Lovely Person?

Perhaps it is better if you don't talk

    Talk back
    Take back

    Your Love

    Titan
In walking through the forest, with Dog, Roebuck and Lapwing by my side
The beauty that is hers is spread open wide.
The torches that guide us and spare us when world's collide
That is the Time when Titans die.

    To surrender to the other
And know that they will be there
In that will I find cold comfort.

One does not know when the castle is reigned in
Nor when the Sky will become our skin.
Or to shuck our coat of Sin
That is the time when our loved ones choose to die.

    Baoth-chleasachd (Pantomine)
    Tha i anseo
    Tha i anseo
    Tha i anseo

    Chan i anseo
    Bha mi ach amadan

    An teid mi?
    Is ea
    Chan e riamh
    Furasda

    Tha thu sa do gnogeis
    le do gnogeas
    thu gnogach
    gnoigeag

    Bhitheas thu
    dean ar'-a-mach
    de dean amarach

    Anger
When those that you thought were friends stab you and your family in the back

    It can be very painful

When you still see them after,
it is forgetfulness, it is not forgiveness
    it is oblivion

To see them shine while you wallow
is to look at the beloved star

    I starve

    But I am fat

    Fearg

Nuair iad gu smaointich thu gu raibh cairdean airson troimh-lot thu agus do clann cul

    Bi i craiteach

Nuair bhitheas thu gam a' faicinn an deidh
Tha i diochuimhn chan i mathanas
Chan e an aite sam bith

Faicadh thu gam dealrach gu bheil thu loirc sin uine
gu bheil faic ag runach rionnag

    Reangaich mi

    Ach bheil mi reamwhar
