Meadows (Richmond) Highland Games and Celtic Festival 2009

Lads and lasses,
Roll call on attendance on the former Richmond, now the Meadows Highland Games and Celtic Festival to be held in Doswell near Kings Dominion. Here’s the link to their web page. I’ll be convening the MacCallum Malcolm Clan tent both days, Saturday 10/24 & Sunday 10/25. Please stop by. How about a meet up both days at the Pub tent between Barley Juice and Rathkeltair concerts? (SAT – ‘2:30’ PM, SUN – ‘1:30’ PM) I’ve heard from those attending the State Fair, the Meadows Event Park is a great place.

I will be there both days manning the Clan Elliot tent.

Maybe they will put the Elliots and Malcolms next to each other like was done at Williamsburg.

It's less than a week until the games, now. It's time to get a final count of who is attending. Remember, one of our founding members, Jimmy Carbomb will be there with his band, Barleyjuice. To all of the newbies in the Richmond area, come on down and meet with us at the Clan Malcolm tent at at least one of the times that Ern suggested. I promise, none of us will bite. Well, maybe..., but he's had his shots anyhow, and he is usually muzzled.

I need to get out my Wellies and Mr. Anthony for tomorrow. I have today, off and will be slipping down this afternoon to the Meadows Park to check things out and put up my Clan banner frame.

I remember MoR posting on another threads, he is coming. We may have to fetch him from his Morgan at the British Autos Show.
