Now for Q&A, The caber you are throwing arrears to be a third longer than what I have seen. I know the weight has to be 140#, is there a length? Are you competing pro, so the standards are different from amateur?

The biggest cabers I think I've thrown was about 125lbs. and 19 feet. I didn't turn it but I have turned a 17 foot caber. I think the ones in the pics are between 16-19 feet. I'm pretty good with caber. I'm throwing in B class.

This year we had some nasty 90-100 pounders but they were a freakish 21+ feet long. Ya' picked the darn things up and thought--hmmm, pretty light. Then it felt like it took and hour for the top to arc. Short and heavy ALWAYS easier for me then long and light.
Great pics--do us a favor though... If you EVER get the urge to compete in and around the great lakes, sit down and rest until the urge goes away--we don't need the stress!
Seriously--if you ever decide to come out this way--you're more than welcome!
